Tap the invite link they sent you. If you already have Voya it opens the trip; if not, you’ll be asked to install it first. You can also tap + on your trips page and choose Join with an invite link.

Personal invite links work once and last 7 days. Ask whoever invited you to send a new one from the trip’s Group tab, or to share the trip’s group link instead.

On the trip, tap Add from a booking email or screenshot. Paste the confirmation, add screenshots or PDFs, or forward the email to the trip’s own address shown there. Voya reads it and shows you what it found; nothing is saved until you check it.

Ideas are things someone suggests: everyone taps I’m in on the ones they like. Plans are on a day in the itinerary. Plan our ideas fits the popular ideas into your free time, pencilled in so you can still move them.

• Recommend places (hotels, restaurants, bars, tours), checked on Google, that you add with a tap.
• Change plans when you ask, like “move dinner to 10”. You confirm every change.
• During the trip, find what’s good near you.

It never books or pays for anything. Each trip includes a few free place searches.

Add a spend on the Money tab, say who paid and who it’s for: equally, by amounts, percentages or shares. Voya works out the simplest way to settle up. If you add your Monzo, PayPal or Revolut link in your profile, friends can pay you back in one tap.

Yes. Your trips are kept on your phone, and anything you add or change while offline waits there and is sent as soon as you’re back online.

Check notifications are on for Voya in your phone’s Settings, and in Voya under your profile. You’ll hear when someone books, adds or pays for something on your trips.

In Voya, tap your initial at the top of the trips page, then Delete account. Your account, private plans, tickets and photos are deleted. Shared plans and spends stay for the rest of the group, and trips you organised pass to the next person who joined (or are deleted if nobody did). More in the privacy policy.
